- W3 Schools. Learn coding so you can create a website. Try-it-your-self editor to speed up learning.

Thanks for sharing these links. People don’t realize that writing/blogging isn’t as simple as throwing your articles up. You have to know what goes on behind the scenes as well. I would love to learn CSS, but haven’ t had the time. Will check these all out.
Thank you Shelley. While web design skills aren’t required to write a free standard blog (like this one), freelance writing jobs for web tend to require understanding of SEO.
In any case, graphic design and web design are useful freelancer skills because they enable one to produce work that can easily be sourced and delivered online.
And of course, visual/programming skills combine beautifully with other typical freelancer skills in creative projects… such as writing.
